The site contains a plaque in memory of 3 American fighter pilots of the 512th U.S. Fighter Squadron who were killed when their planes crashed in Mogues during World War II.

The site is situated in the center of the town. This is located on the west side of the D48A/Gr la Grande Rue and Rue de Florenville junction. To the west opposite here is where the town war memorial was erected.
