Messerschmidt Memorial (MOH, 3rd Infantry Division)

Details:

Towards the SE corner of the church in a grass square about 5 meters off of the hedge line. Monument

Granite monument with a flag pole on either side.

The Dark granite has the 3rd Infantry Division insignia and a soldier wearing a helmet etched in with the message in blue lettering. To it's left there is a small stone cylinder with the medal of honor insignia etched in on the top.
